He was born April 16, 1948, in Parkersburg a son to the late Earnest J. and Ruth E. Stephens. He enjoyed trains, hopping many as a younger boy riding from place to place, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Earnest J. Stephens, and a niece, Tamara Moore.
He is survived by his siblings, Carolyn Sue Lamp (John), Cora May Davis, Mary E. Latham all of Parkersburg, Patricia Fitzgerald (Larry) of Columbus, Ronald L. Stephens (Derwin) of Parkersburg, and Angela Schiable (Fred) of Columbus, OH, along with several nieces, and nephews.
Service will be Tues, January 28, 2014, 2 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Tues. from noon-2 pm at the funeral home.
