Jerome T. Casey Sr.

He was born Jan. 26, 1944 in Memphis, TN, a son of Neida Lee Fowinkle Casey of Memphis, TN and the late John Thomas Casey. He was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church and the VFW. He was a U.S. Army veteran with 18 years of military service including 13 years of active duty with service in Vietnam. He was a great husband, father, son, and brother.

In addition to his mother, Neida Casey, he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vicki L. Murphy Casey; one son, Jerome T. Casey, Jr. of Parkersburg; one daughter, Cindy Riviera, of Belpre, OH; seven grandchildren, Nathan Wells, Brittany Smith, Natasha Hart, and Robert Thomas Terrell, all of Parkersburg, and Shelby, Kursten, and Emily Nokleby, all of Washington, WV; two great-grandchildren, Victoria Wells, of St. Louis, MO and Braden Smith of Parkersburg; three brothers, Joe Casey, of Jackson, TN, Ronnie Casey, of Texas, and John Casey of Baldwyn, MS; one sister, Anita Comeaux of Memphis, TN; and one son-in-law, Adrien Nokleby of Washington, WV.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynda Ruth Nokleby.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Rev. Tommy Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens with military rites provided by American Legion Post #15.
