Joseph Oliver Hatcher Sr., 93, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away December 9, 2017 in Eldercare, Ripley, WV. He was born October 21, 1924, in Kenna, WV, a son of the late Joseph G. Hatcher and Ester E. Winters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June Hatcher and two daughters, Angela R. Landis and Linda Jane Greenawalt.
Joseph retired as a machine operator from Owens Illinois with 36 years of service and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the 10th Ave. Church of God, Parkersburg and enjoyed gardening, hunting, working jigsaw puzzles and bowling.
Survivors include his daughters, Vonda Dillon and her husband Ken of Lakeland, FL, WV; sons, Charles Hatcher of Pond Gap, WV, Joseph O. Hatcher Jr. and his wife Lisa of Belpre, OH; sister, Frita Halstead and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one step-daughter, Deborah Gannoe of Pond Gap, WV.
