Karen Elaine Whited

She was born March 15, 1945, a daughter to the late Robert Sheppard and Glenda Mae Sheppard Radcliff. She was a graduate of PHS class of 1963, retired from Corning Glass, and was a member of the Broadway Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Palmer, brother in law, Gene Palmer, and niece Jenny Palmer.

She is survived by her sons, Craig Whited of Parkersburg, and Christopher Whited of Lubbock, TX, sister, Sandra Sheppard Smith (David) of Ft. Myers, FL, nieces, Sherry Smith Morris (JR) of Parkersburg, and Terry Smith Papp (James) of Cape Coral, FL, nephews, Bob Palmer (Lisa) of Williamstown, and David Palmer of Parkersburg, along with several nieces and nephews, David Carnes (Anne), Jason Carnes (Destiny), Scott Rejonis, Ben Palmer, Daniel Palmer, Joshua Palmer, Sydney Palmer, Kristin Baldyga, and Alison Palmer.

Service will be Sunday, March 17, 2013, 3:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Harold Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Sunday, March, 17, 2013 from 1-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
