He was born April 29, 1942 in Wood County, a son to the late Ed and Madge Ross Stewart. He was a retired semi-truck driver. He was a patient and humble man.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Zella Hendricks, and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife Berneda Stewart, three sons, Lester Stewart Jr., Edward Lee Stewart, and Brian Stewart; two daugters, Angel Mitchell and Renee Stewart; two brothers, Don Stewart (Joyce) of Mansfield, Ohio and Cecil Stewart (Velma) of Little Hocking, Ohio.
Service will be today, 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Daniel Morikone officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
