Lois "kaye" Tyree

She was born June 24, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter to the late George Ward and Flora Grimes Ward.

Kaye worked as hostess and supervisor at Burger King for 15 years, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. She was also a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. Kaye attended Pettyville Church of Christ and found comfort in her faith. She was deeply loved by those who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Omer "Allen" Tyree; son, Lance Tyree of Orlando, FL; daughter, Marla Tyree of Parkersburg, WV; brother, David (Cindy) Ward of Mineral Wells, Wv; sisters, Charlotte (Jim) Galloway of Parkersburg, WV, Beverly (Pete) Interdonato of Ripley, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karla J. Haverty.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Funeral HOme. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
