Luella F. Haught, 64, of Parkersburg, passed away at home on Aug. 16, 2011.
She was born Sept. 6, 1946 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie Dailey.
Luella was an amazing cook for many years, having worked at Foodland, Ohio Valley College, and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed cooking big meals for her family and especially her sons’ friends (who could really put the food away). She also enjoyed watching NASCAR and canning things from her garden.
She is survived by her husband, Grant Haught; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Kevin Linville; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Rene Haught; four grandchildren, Jordyne, Brodey, Brenna, and Kailan; and her siblings, Joan (Kent) Carder, Tom Dailey, Dave (Betty) Dailey, Chuck Dailey, Margie (Joe) Mace.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Randy Kochersperger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
