Marian "Bobbie" S. Allen

Marian ''Bobbie'' Parker Allen, 92, of Vienna, WV passed away January 27, 2020 at her residence. Marian was born December 1, 1927, in Harrisville, WV to Andy H. and Evelyn (Summerall) Parker. She retired from Walker Systems and had an undying love for God, Family and gardening. Marian will be deeply missed by her sons, Scott (Nel) Allen of Vienna, WV, Larry (Angie) Allen of Parkersburg, WV, daughters, Diane Workman of Parkersburg, WV, Pam (Bob) Blue of Lubeck, WV, Connie (Scott) Marion of Belpre, OH, daughter-in-law, Lois Allen of Washington, WV, eleven grandchildren, Bradley Allen, Casey Allen, Brandi Nutter, Jennifer Valentine, Michelle, Josh and Jason Blue, Matt and Frankie Marion, Louie Allen and Lindsay, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Winnie Shepard, husband, Ray Allen, sons, Steve Allen, Mike Allen, grandsons, Ron Workman, Craig Workman and Chad Allen, brothers, Joe Parker, R. Charles Parker, daughter-in-law, Mary Allen, Son-in-law, Ralph Workman, sister-in-law, Mary Carmichael and brother-in-law, W. Glen Allen. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bernie Paxton officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family would like to give special thanks to the Senior Citizens Center, Housecalls Hospice and Dr. Newland and staff for their care and compassion.
