Mary J Roberts

She was born October 28, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter to the late Rex Lee and Vergie Mary Uhl Lee.

She was a member of Grand Central Church of Christ and also attended Riverside Church. She worked as a cook for Wood County Schools for many years and for OVU admission office. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canning, and especially loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Paul Roberts; daughter, Brenda Roberts; granddaughter, Ashley (Chandler) Phillips; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Corbin, Camden, Cohen; niece, Sharon; nephew, Charles and several other loving family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orlen Roberts; two sisters, Ester, Gladys, and brother, Carl.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday June 24, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
