She was born March 17, 1931on Cabin Fork in Jackson County, WV, a daughter of the late Richard and Emma (Moore) Rawson.
Imogene loved traveling, bowling, fishing, sewing, hand embordering, dominoes, and riding her side by side. Throughout her life, she held several positions, including working at G.C. Murphy’s, the Visco Plant. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from the Wood County Board of Education, where she worked as a cook. She was a long time faithful member of Marrtown Church of Christ. She was a member of Rendor Bowling Lanes with several friends and family. She spent 78 wonderful years living on the Weaver family farm, a place she loved dearly and was always happiest calling home. She took great pride in caring for her property, especially mowing her lawn, which earned her the affectionate nickname “the Yard Lady.” Above all else, Imogene cherished her family. She loved them deeply and was always there to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, and support them in any way she could. Her love and devotion to her family will always be remembered, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Michael (Edy) Weaver, Paula (Burl) Cline, Wavie (Eric) Minigh, Kenny (Sherry) Weaver; grandchildren, Derrick Cline, Amanda, Sylvia, Chrissy, Pattrick, Andrew; great grandchildren, Austin, Jaden, Ariel, CJ, Adessa, Daniel, Rhett, Colton, Lincoln, Shyanna, and Colt.
