Michael A Rumer

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of HOG, and belonged to the American Legion Post 15.

He spent most of his career working for Rish Equipment, Benson Truck bodies and Matheny Motors. Michael loved working with his hands and could fix anything.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife; Pat: nephews, Nija Conley of Parkersburg, Derek Rumer of Greenwood, AR, Brian Rumer of Valrico, FL, Ashley McIntire of Edmond, OK, Sunny Lambert of Belpre, OH; sister-in-laws, Theresa Rumer of Belpre, OH and Angie Rumer of Parkersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brother, Timothy and Doug, and his beloved dog, Sable.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home officiated by Ryan Clegg Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
