She was born January 19,1947 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Harry Johnson Phillips and Lottie Susan Brookover.
Mildred worked as an in-home health aide for the elderly and disabled with Westbrook Health Services, a role that reflected her nurturing spirit.
She is survived by one sister, Janet Susan Phillips Bonnett of Belpre; two daughters, Kimmy (Mark) Taylor and Evelyn (Joseph) Smith, both of St. Marys, WV; five grandsons, Phillip (Teressa) Morgan, Frank (Gretchen) Taylor, Bruce (Michelle) Chadock, Bill (Jess) Smith, C.J. (Jenna) Smith and 16 great grandchildren.
Per Mildred’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date for friends and family.
