

He was born November 15, 1932, a son of the the late Nathaniel Preston Dailey and Lillian Genivevie Westfall Dailey Tichnell.
Raymond worked as a bricklayer. He was a Presbyterian by faith, attending Beechwood Presbyterian. He was a proud member of the United States Army serving during World War II and the Korean War. He enjoyed his motorcycle and never missed an opportunity to ride. He was an avid outdoorsman, who especially loved fishing, hunting, camping, and anything else that would get him outdoors. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends,and all those lives he touched.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sons, Raymond Dailey Jr. of Parkersburg, WV, William Dailey of Belpre, OH; daughters, Phyllis McIntosh of Parkersburg, WV, JoAnn Shrader of Parkersburg, WV, Helen Gillespie of Belpre, OH, Betina Sturgeon of Arizona; stepdaughters, Tammy Dailey, Barbie Feldman; stepson, Billy Kemp;twenty five grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Barbarene Dailey; daughters, Susan Rice, Rosetta"Rose" Dailey; stepson, Michael Kemp: brother Fred Dailey and sister, Mildred Latea.
Funeral services will be at 2P.M. Friday January 10,2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Debbie Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service form 12 P.M. to 2P.M. at the funeral home.
