Richard Woodrow Doyle

Born on November 5, 1941, in Parkersburg, WV, Bud was the son of the late Howard Doyle and Sylvia (Andrews) Doyle. He worked for many years in the construction industry and was known for his strong work ethic and quiet strength.

A proud Christian by faith, Bud found joy in the simple things in life. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, boating, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn; beloved daughters, Rebecca Vennard, Rhonda Raybuck, Jennifer Doyle- Frazier; son, Eugene Boley; his granddaughter, Holly Ann Raybuck; his parents; and siblings, Darryl Doyle, Regina Mills, and Vicki Steed.

Bud is survived by his sister, Donna Reed. He is also remembered fondly by his many grandchildren: George Vennard, Valerie (Eric) Freeman, Brandon (Alysia) Frazier, and Josh (Nicole) Raybuck. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Eric Jr., Dylan, Parker, Dustin, and Drake.

Bud will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Mike Kidd officiating.
