

He was born February 2, 1942, a son to the late Carlos “Babe” Morrison and Elma Flinn Morrison.
Ronald retired from Perrin Asphalt after many years of service. He proudly served in three branches of the United States military and was a devoted member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post 15. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures- reading a good book, watching television, and spending time with his family. He especially cherished the companionship of his five beloved cats. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his son, Sheldon Morrison of Parkersburg, WV; daughters, Rhonda (Russell) Cunningham of Coolville, OH; Barbara(Michael Fawcett) Caplinger of Parkersburg, WV; brothers, Carlos (Laura) Morrison of Belpre, OH, William Morrison of Parkersburg, WV ; sister, Sharon (Jenny) Morrison of Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, Tiffany (Zach) Sarber, Alyssa Cunningham, Samantha (Evan) Summers, Sheldon Morrison Jr. Tyler Morrison; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Shaylinn, Eli, Landon, Kolby, Ashton, Ciera, Eason, Ariyah, Maylinn, Chesynae and great-great grandson, Kayson Naylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha” Diann” Morrison and grandson, Daniel Morrison.
The family would like to give a special “thank you” to VA nurse, Andrea and Amed nurse, Gabby for their care and compassion to dad during his final days.
Per Ronald’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
