Ronnie Lee Rumbaugh

Ronnie was born Aug. 5, 1950, in Levelland, Texas, to William "Bill" and Edwina (Rickmond) Rumbaugh.

He married Patti Kaye Thompson on July 20, 2002.

Ronnie was employed at RDI Insurance, retired from Central Freight in 2001 after 30 years of service. He attended Southside Baptist Church, loved the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed all sports and watching Gunsmoke.

Ronnie will be deeply missed by his wife, Patti; daughters, Gwyn (Bobby) Cude of Texas and Trista (Mike) Bodette of Minnesota; stepdaughter, Rachel Lemon of Charleston; grandchildren, Dylan Bodette, Danielle Bodette, Tanner Cude and Peyton Cude; brother, Billy (Karen) Rumbaugh of Texas; sister, Cheryl Moore of Colorado; and loving pups Charlie and Bella.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Edwina; stepfather, George Richmond; brother, Larry Rumbaugh; and his first wife, Cathy Wyatt Rumbaugh.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July15, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Lloyd Winans officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
