Rosetta Fern Terrell, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away July 4, 2011 at Camden-Clark Medical Center St. Joseph’s Campus.
She was born June 6, 1925 in Ritchie County, WV a daughter of the late Alonzo and Grace Virginia Rinehart Hanlon. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church, the Foster Grandparent Program, she played in the Parkland Place Senior Band, and always had a way to make you laugh.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Christine (Terrell) McMahan; grandchildren, Jennifer and Brent McMahan, and Katherine Terrell; one sister, Pauline Brookover; and close friend, Richard Streight.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Terrell, one son, Randall Stephenson Terrell; five brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services on Thursday. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
