

Sharon Lee Farnsworth of Walker, WV passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was born in Belleville, WV on January 14, 1948 to William Clarke and Mary simmons. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Blair (Michael), son,Ronald Farnsworth II, three granddaughters, Francheskia Wussick (David), Taylor Farnsworth, and Samantha Williams, one great granddaughter, Kadyn Wussick, two brothers, Timothy Simmons, Kevin Simmons (Sandy) and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Farnsworth, her sister, Lucille Winland, and brothers, Clark Simmons, Roger Simmons, and Charles Simmons.
Sharon attended Parkersburg High School but dropped out of school as a Junior to take care of her sick mother. She later obtained her GED. She married the love of her life Ronald C. Farnsworth on May 4, 1967 in Ventura, California. Ron and Sharon moved back to their hometown to start a family, and she chose to stay at home to raise her children. She loved the beauty of nature.l In the Spring and Summer, she had a beautiful flower garden and love to watch hummingbirds. She enjoyed crocheting and decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. She also enjoyed dancing to Elvis, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, and George Straight.
Sharon enjoyed cooking. As the children grow up, she took her passion for cooking into the community. She worked as a Cook for the Ames Company.
Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild and always put others needs above her own.
The family will hold a Celebration of life at a later date to be determined.
