She was born February 7, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Wayne and Patricia Tanner Hennen.
Shirley worked until her sickness no longer allowed her to. She was committed to working and building relationships with her coworkers and customers. If she was able to work yesterday, we are sure she would have been there. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and word searches. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and beamed with pride as the biggest fan of her grandchildren.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Erik (Kelly) Spriggs of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Dillon Dowler, Derick Dowler, Karleigh Dowler, Kendall Spriggs, Eian Spriggs and Emry Spriggs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russel D. Spriggs.
Per Shirley’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
