Verl Edward Duley

Verl was born October 24, 1941 in Calhoun County to Luther and Virginia {Brown} Duley.

Verl worked at Tebay Dairy Farm, Gihon Golf, Cloverdale Meat Packing and did odd jobs. He retired from Wetz. Verl also was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He loved to go fishing, hunting and camping. He was an outdoor person and loved to be outside. He loved setting on the porch and feeding the squirrels, loved people and could make friends with anyone he met.

Verl will be deeply missed by daughter, Lisa Duley, his sons, Rich Duley (Terry), Verl Duley Jr. (Sheila), Kenneth Duley (Jennifer), Jason Duley, Greg Duley (Monica), grandchildren, Natasha Duley, Jessica Duley, Amanda Reynolds, Makinze Duley, Nathan Duley, Alan Duley, Chris Duley, Samantha Duley, Austin Duley, Tiffany Duley, Kayla Kessler, Austin Mossor, Tyler Mossor, Hunter Duley, Stephanie Duley, Josh Duley, Ashley Duley, Isadora Duley and sixteen great grandkids.

Verl was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Judy and grandson Ryan Duley.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Friday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Waldron officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
