I knew Bill as a member of the Parkersburg Choral Society, and enjoyed making music with him. He and my father were friends when they shared time together at Paris Island as fellow Marines during the Korean conflict. I was saddened by the news of his death.

My sincere condolences to the Butcher family.
Bill and I were fellow Marines and have been golfing buddies, along with his brother, Bob for many years. I will never forget the "fun" golfing outings with the two of them over the years.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
