A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY
William John Shockey, age 58, was called home July 13th, 2019. He was born in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Clarence William and Wilma Shockey. His is survived by six sisters; Cynthia J. (Jeff) Huxley (Shockey), Donna Harrison, Debbie Harrison, Deborah (Ben) Cummings (Shockey), Brenda Buchhannon (Shockey), Linda Neal (Shockey), and one brother David Shockey and several nieces and nephews.
William graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1979. He served in the United States Air Force as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and worked as a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ.
There will be a private burial honoring his memory at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
