Words can't express how we will miss Von. She has been a dear friend for 48 years, since I arrived as a second grade teacher at Gihon School. Our prayers will storm the throne of grace this weekend for the blessing of peace that only God can give as her family and friends bid her farewell until we meet again in heaven. I am so very sorry we cannot be present, but there was not time for us to get safely from our location in Florida to Parkersburg for the service. We will be with you in spirit, though not in person, Lee. See you soon.

This jewel became part of our family 53 years ago. She was a delight and we are blessed that God put her in our lives. We will miss you terribly, Von, until we meet again.
