Barbara Jean GREENE

The family of Barbara Jean Greene, Jean as she was known to her family and friends, would like to announce the passing of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and mother in law.  She passed away in the early hours of January 1st, 2024.

Jean was born October 30, 1935 to Robert and Irene Muir and had one sister, Rita.  She would share many stories of her youth and the memories she made while growing up.

Jean was married and gave birth to Bob, Linda, George, Barbara, and Peter.  She enjoyed her children and, as they grew up and had children of their own, she enjoyed being a grandmother and a great grandmother.

As her life moved forward, she married Clary Greene and experienced many adventures.  Sadly, he passed before they could both retire and create more memories together.  Sadly, she was predeceased by her son, Bob in December of 2021 and her son, Peter passed only hours after she did.

Thank you to the staff at Echo Village for the care, compassion, and support during the last months of her life.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal service.  Her family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life privately.
