Carol Christine Wells

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Carol Wells at her home in Parksville. Her departure has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Carol was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, David. Together they built a life of love, mutual respect, and support.

She was a proud and loving mother to her son, Stephen, and her daughter, Heather. Carol was dedicated to her family, offering guidance, encouragement, and support. She delighted in watching her grandchildren, Connor, Rowan, Kaitlyn and Janine grow and begin lives of their own.

Those who knew Carol will remember her intelligence, her attentiveness, and her ability to make others feel valued. She had a way of remembering the small details, reaching out at just the right time, and offering quiet support when it was needed most. Her generosity extended beyond her immediate family to friends, neighbors, and her community.

The shock of our loss is deeply felt. Yet, even in our grief, we find comfort in the many memories we shared— holidays spent together, family dinners, and stories told and retold.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her friends, family and community.

An informal gathering will be held, Monday, March 30 at 1 pm at Yates Funeral Home to honor Carol’s life.
