An eternal optimist, Marsha taught us how to look on the bright side and find the silver lining, in life. Her fierce loyalty was an honour to be in the presence of, and it extended well beyond her family and lifelong friends. She strove to live a good life and could find humour even in life’s darkest times.
Marsha was born on February 7, 1947, to one of her favourite people, Berma Adamson, and her loving dad, Doug Greig. She is etched in the hearts of her husband, John Gantner, her daughters, Sareh (Scott) and Melissa (Tyler), her grandchildren, Grace, Dylan, and Kayte, and her niece and nephew, Kealy and Harley. She loved us, and we loved her “like crazy.”
We are profoundly grateful to her doctors and nurses, and to the outpouring of support from our family, friends, and neighbours.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favourite charity.
Marsha, you are a legend. You will be remembered whenever we see a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a rainbow over the ocean, and during the long, hot August days.
