Charles was born in Moncton to his now deceased parents Gerald and Freda McLaughlin. To Charles, life was a journey winding its way down many roads, some paved, some rocky and others simply pathways leading to the next learning and growing experience. As a young man he was an accomplished athlete; hockey, rugby (60 minute man at famed McGill University leading to a tryout for the Montreal Alouettes football club). Always a team player and leader. Charles was a deeply spiritual soul with significant influences from the First Nations Community which culminated in his leadership as the Director of the Tsow-Tun- Le-Lum Society.
Charles loved and was loved, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community.
