Cory David Lawrence GAGNE

It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cory David Lawrence Gagne on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at his home.

Cory was born April 29, 1973 in Port Alberni Hospital.  He lived in Victoria and Edmonton before settling again Port Alberni.

Corey was predeceased by his mother Sharon (Gagne) Ruttan and his cousin Brent Jackson.  He is survived by his father Larry Rathbone, sisters Lora May (Cory) Jones, Leanne (Kyle) Klus, and brothers Troy (Michelle) Cyr, Sean Olivia Cyr.

Where I have gone I am not so small.

My soul is as wide as the world is tall.

I have gone to answer the call, the call

Of the One who takes care of us all.

Wherever you look, you will find me there –

In the heart of a rose.

In the heart of a prayer.

On butterflies’ wings, on wings of my own,

To you, I’m gone,

But I’m never alone –

I am home.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015  - 11:00 AM at Yates Funeral Chapel – 4470 Gertrude Street, Port Alberni.  Interment will take place at a later date.
