Sadly, Dan passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 after a brief, but courageous, battle with COPD. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 45 years, Sally; daughter Sherri Waterman of Delta, BC; son, Tim (Lauren) of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Tyler Dawson and Emily Waterman; mother, Noreen of Calgary, Alberta; sister, Elaine (Norm) Wilde; many close friends and extended family members. Dan was predeceased by his father, William.
Beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Dan was a cherished friend to many. He loved to play bridge but his first love was sailing. He is now at peace.
In keeping with Dan’s wishes, no services will be held. Those wishing to honour his memory may do so by making a donation in his name to the BC Lung Association, 2675 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC V6H 2K2.
