It is with sadness that we announce that David passed gently into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Trillium Hospice Unit in Parksville, BC. Loving husband of Mary, father to Merydth (Glenn) Holte-McKenzie, grandfather to Rowan (7) and Matthew (5), he was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Agnes Holte; and brother Jim (Janet). David was born on September 20, 1944 in Vancouver, BC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 24 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Nanoose Bay, BC. Those wishing to honour his memory may send gifts in David’s name either to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 2600 Powder Point Road, Nanoose Bay, BC V9P 9E8 or ‘Trillium Hospice Unit’ Oceanside Hospice, 210 Crescent Rd., Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1J9.
