Dad, it breaks my heart to see this Memorial book empty. I was always afraid that you would die alone and it would seem this is what happened. I never stopped loving you. I just couldn't handle the disappointments anymore and couldn't allow you to do it to my kids. Ron told me that you had stopped drinking and smoking the last while of your life and that you were happy and peaceful in the home. God how I wish I had known that before you died as that is the dad I wanted to know. He told me you were loved and had friends there and I am so glad. I truly miss the man I think you may have become. I hope you are at peace. I know this memorial book is supposed to be meant for the family but these are things  I wanted to say and I am your daughter. I love you
