Born in Toronto, Ontario to John and Dorothy McIntosh, Betty never married. A successful business executive, well travelled, Betty spent 4 years in Haiti at a Baptist Mission.
Twenty five years ago, she moved to Parksville where she enjoyed life, never regretting the move. Betty loved her little poodles - they were her immediate family and the joy of her later years. She was always there to help her siblings, and their families when help was needed, generous, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, and never judgmental.
Betty will be missed by all who knew her, family and friends. Held back only by a body that had lost its mobility in recent years, Betty’s spirit is now free to soar to new heights.
