On Saturday August 30th Anne passed away peacefully at Nanaimo General Hospital in BC at the age of 88. She was survived by her 6 children-David, Ken, Beth, Michael, Lee Anne & Steve as well as 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Anne married Gerald Knapp in her late teens and had 6 children by the time she was 27. Obviously having an already busy and hectic life, Anne went on to pursue careers in nursing and Coordinator of Volunteer Services. She was very caring, religious and probably the most giving person most of us have ever known.
Upon retirement Anne and her husband Cyril moved to Vancouver Island where they enjoyed the beauty of the Pacific lifestyle. Anne and Cyril also spent many winters in Panama City Beach, Florida and Mazatlan, Mexico where they made numerous new friendships.
In her final years she resided at Kiwanis Village in Nanaimo where her outgoing nature endeared her to both residents and staff. Anne definitely enjoyed a very full life and will be missed by all who knew her.
A service will be held in the future with the date to be announced.
