Elsie died peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2019 at her residence in Port Alberni. She leaves behind her son, Len; daughters, Cheryl, Carolyn, and Diana; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, John.
Born in rural Manitoba, Elsie grew up in Pentiction, BC. She and her husband, John raised their children in Chilliwack and later moved to Port Hardy where they ran a successful Boarding House for many years. After retiring, they relocated to Port Alberni and Elsie filled her days with painting, ceramics, gardening, and canning.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In keeping with Elsie's wishes no services will be held.
