She leaves behind to miss her, her children and their families, Don, David, Douglas Richard, Deborah and Sandra; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Emily was born to Amil and Jenny Zarzecki in Archawill, Saskatchewan on June 8, 1938 where the family lived in a one room log cabin with a dirt floor. Emily was proud of her grass roots heritage. A true prairie gal, she never turned her back on hard work and almost single handily raised her 7 children on her own.
When not busy with her children and work, Emily filled her time with crocheting and quilting. She was also known to play a mean game of cards and loved to be surrounded by people.
