Eva Elsie Jean YEO

Elsie leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Jack; children, Julie (Bill), Bill, and Jean (Jim); grandchildren, William, known as BJ, (Carla), Alan; great grandchildren Cavence and Sarah.  She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, and daughter-in-law, Andrea.  Elsie will be missed by her brothers-in-law, Doug and Bill Yeo; many nieces, nephews and friends; as well as cousins in Northern Ireland.

Elsie worked with the Royal Bank for 22 years in Regina and Winnipeg.  She enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph’s Hospital and knitting for the gift shop as well as reading, baking and walking her dogs, first Nipper and later Archie.

Elsie was a strong, feisty woman and, against all odds, a 32 year breast cancer champion.  Family was very important to Mom both close and extended.  Mom was always there for us and took great delight in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
