He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Burns and their son, Vinton Burns (Angela). He was predeceased by their son, Mark Burns. Gary was a devoted husband and father, known for his steady presence, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family.
A longtime resident of Parksville, Gary will be remembered for his kindness, honesty, and deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. His warmth and generosity touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In keeping with Gary’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Family and friends are encouraged to remember and celebrate the good times shared with him.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered..
