Ivan Mann passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 81. He will be missed by his wife of 55 years (Darlene Mann), son (Darrell Mann), daughter (Karen Stals), two grandchildren (Brianna & Erika Stals), sister (Joan Sakatch), brother (Norman Jeal) and sister-in-law (Leola Stevens).
Ivan was born in Hoadley, Alberta, went to school in Calgary and graduated Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He worked for CP Rail and Transport Canada (surface, rail division). He retired to Vancouver Island in 2000, where he enjoyed camping, hiking, cycling and cross country skiing. He loved dogs and walked many kilometers with a Sheltie by his side.
No service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.
