

Jim was born October 26, 1947 in Regina, Saskatchewan to Sieghard and Amelia Lindenbach. Jim lived on a dairy farm near McLean, Saskatchewan until his family moved into Regina in 1953.
He attended Sacred Heart School, Campion College and graduated from Thom Collegiate in 1966. Jim married his high school sweetheart, Goldie Inch, in 1967 in Regina where they raised their two sons, Jay and Chad.
Jim was outgoing and enjoyed good people, good wine and good times. His sharp wit and cheeky sense of humour was appreciated by all who were in his company. Jim was a car enthusiast and enjoyed cruising on warm sunny days with Goldie riding shotgun.
Jim treasured time coaching his boy’s baseball teams and leading their Cub Scout groups when they were youngsters. In the more recent years Jim cherished precious time with all four of his grandchildren.
Jim and Goldie retired to Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island in 2007 and celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2017 with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Goldie; sons Jay (Jacqueline) and Chad (Randi); grandchildren Phoebe, Isabelle, Maximus and Nova; brother Ken; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim is predeceased by his parents Sieghard and Amelia Lindenbach, and his father and mother-in-law, George and Florence Inch.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be a celebration of his life in August. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia would be greatly appreciated.
