Sorry to hear of Jeannette's passing.  She was great neighbour to us down the street on Elliston Ave. (the little grey house).  She always stopped and chatted with us when out on her daily walks.

Many good memories of Jeanette,  Len's  first memories at Burnside Elementary and many social gatherings with Jeanette and Jack over the years.  Lovely lady and she will be sadly missed.

I was the speech therapist at Torquay Elementary and knew Jeannette there.  I remember her as a caring teacher who always wanted the best for her students.  She was very hard working but also always had time for friendly words.  I'm sure the school missed her very much when she retired.  My condolences to her family.

I still remember Mrs. Sparks, she was my Grade 1 Teacher at Burnsude Elementary in 1977-78.

I was a long time teaching colleague with Jeannette at Torquay Elem. She retired from teaching after a 2 year job share with me. Jeannette and I were a great team and I learned so much from her years of teaching primary children. She also worked many years alongside my dad Len Anderson at Burnside Elem. I first met Jeannette when she and I transferred to Torquay Elementary in
1976.  She was a wonderful primary teacher who cared much for her students.  We had a great staff in those days and much comraderie.  My husband, Bob, and I, together with Norm and Sherrill Eyres enjoyed many weekends with Jack and Jeannette over the years.  We went to Satlum Lodge on the Cowichan River and to Long Beach several times.  We often
attended plays and concerts together.  Bob and Norm looked forward to our monthly dinners together when it was Jeannette's turn because she made the BEST pies! 
Our condolences to Jeannette's family, especially to Bill and Theresa for
their loving care when Jeannette could no longer stay in her home.

We remember her fondly and our days at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Lakehill.  We are no longer parishioners there, but Jack's needlework cushions, Jeannette's singing in the choir are some of the good memories of them both.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family on her passing but pray the thoughts of good times spent together will bring some comfort.

I shared fond memories of Jeannette at St. Peter's and Abbeyfield House.  A wonderful family, Jack, Jeannette and later Douglas attending our services.
