Went to be with our Lord, peacefully at the age of 66, on April 18, 2013, with his wife Monika and sons Jeff and Jaymes by his side; after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was predeaceased by his parents Morris and Kathleen Stone. He worked at the Pulp Mill, Co-op and 38 years on the Highway Crew, which he liked the most, as he loved to drive. John enjoyed his friends and extended family, fishing, hunting, lawn bowling, shuffle board, the Canucks and the local Bulldogs team.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 20, 2013 - 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, Cherry Creek Road.
