I am saddened at the passing of Joe, who was a friend and comrade. Joe and I both served for 1 Military Police Platoon at the same time and we has some wonderful experiences in those days. I will always remember him for his sense of humour, his infectious laughter and his patience, mentoring and leadership. My condolences to Terry and the rest of the Kinch family. I visited with Joe and Terry quite a few years ago in Parksville and have always intended on visiting again ... but time is sometimes not on our side. i am sad that i did not have the opportunity to see my old friend once again.

It is with the utmost of sadness that I received word of the passing of my former Canadian Provost Corps colleague, Warrant Officer (Retired) Joe Kinch. On behalf of all members of the Canadian Provost Corps Association I send our sincere sympathies to the Kinch Family.  Rest in peace Joe!

Please accept my condolences on Joe's passing. We worked together briefly at 1 MP Platoon in Calgary - he as the Field WO and myself as a brand new 2Lt. He set the conditions for my success. A true leader and gentleman, he will be greatly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with you..

My sincere condolences to Joe's family. I worked for Joe in Calgary at 1 MP PL.  I've never worked for anyone who I have enjoyed working for and had more respect for than Joe. What he has accomplished throughout his life in the CF and after is astonishing.  He was like a father to a lot of us at I MP PL, and because of that you did not want to disappoint him.  Some of my most memorable experiences of Joe occurred one summer when a few of us would take turns each day hosting lunch at our respective homes and of course this always included beer.  It didn't take long before Joe was included into our lunch group. I always enjoyed listening to his stories about "back in the day"  and when he worked "drugs."   I am forever grateful to have been a part of 1 MP PL but mainly to have worked with Joe, he made it fun to work hard and play hard as was his motto.  Thanks for the memories Joe you have touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.
