Kathleen's family sadly announces her passing at Eagle Park Health Care Facility after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert Butler; her two daughters, Lynn and Val; son Wayne; their spouses and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to send special thanks and gratitude to the staff at Eagle Park for the love and care shown to Kathleen and to Robert over Kathleen’s stay at the facility. Special thanks also goes to Dr. J. Wagenaar. You are angels, everyone.
In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes, there will be no funeral and she will be cremated. Her ashes will be scattered by the family near running water, as she loved to fish and to travel.
As I leave you, be strong
Pass the smiles around and remember
How my stories and laughing pleased you
And remember all the happy times we had together
As for me, I am off to a place of peace and everlasting tranquility
When you are ready, I’ll be there waiting for you
