Dear family of Leila: I am an old friend of Leila and just found out of her passing and send my sincerest sympathy to you all. I am very sad to lose this friend of many years.Growing up Leila lived on the same street in Vancouver as my grandmother, and we went to the same public and high schools, graduated and went to the graduation celebration together with our dates and on to our marriages. I moved east but we kept in touch over the years, and the last letter was a signed picture of her grandson Ryan for my grandson Thomas and some photos of her with her grandson Ryan and Debbie. I have many good memories and she will always be in my prayers.
