Leslie Gordon (Les) Corris was born on February 4, 1936, the son of Louisa and William, in Southport, Merseyside, England. Predeceased by the love of his life, Shirley Graham (Smith), Jan 12, 2023.He leaves to mourn, two sons and their spouses, David (Joanne) and Jonathan (Beverley), Also extended family in the UK. He died at home, peacefully in his sleep on January 24, 2026, in Parksville, British Columbia, at the age of 89. Ten days before his 90th Birthday.
While serving in the British Navy and journeying across the seas, Les began corresponding with his future wife as pen-pals. They were married in June 1957 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Their sons were born in England, then the family immigrated to Canada in 1966. Eventually moving to Vancouver, he became a Bus Driver. He loved his garden and was always fixing things around the house. Shirley and Les moved to Parksville about 35 years ago, to enjoy their retirement. His other passions included, dalmatians, motorcycles, photography, stamp collecting, vacations and his ham radio club.
