Lorna Ann HillsLorna passed away suddenly June 19, 2012 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, B.C.   Lorna is predeceased by sisters Dorothy Hoffard, Leona Byers, Phyllis Hansen, and Josie Graham; Brothers Wes Green and Lloyd Green.  Lorna is survived by Husband Ron, of 47 years; daughter Lana (Dave) Thibeau; sons Kevin (Judi) and Duane (Sandra);  grandchildren Frida and Loreto;  Sisters Olive Richardson, Pat Middleton, Frances Cowan, Helen Pollack, Delma Pontius; Brother Jim Green;  and many nieces and nephews. Lorna was born in Westlock Alberta on August 7th 1946, and moved to Port Alberni in 1957 with parents Richard and Julia Green who owned the Fir Grove Store now Beaver Creek Market.  Lorna worked at Fir Park Village and Bread of Life as store manager. Lorna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many in the community, and will be greatly missed.There will be a celebration of Lorna’s life held at the Italian center on Monday July 2nd at 1:00 pm.  Please join us to share in your favorite memories of Lorna with family and friends.  In Lieu of flowers we ask to make a donation to the B.C.
