Predeceased by her father, George Smith of Niagara Falls and her mother, Lillian Gay (nee Bulloch) of Niagara Falls.
Marion was born in Saskatchewan but was a long-time resident of Niagara Falls, Ontario and a member of Grace Gospel Church for many years. Marion served in many aspects of the church in the service of the members of the congregation.
Her distinguished career with the Bank of Montreal took her to Alberta where she retired and eventually moved to Vancouver Island with her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert George Gay of Parksville, BC, grandchildren, Stephen Gay of Parksville, BC and Brenda Christian of Hamilton, Ontario, and many great-grandchildren.
Marion was interred in a private family ceremony on September 27th, 2014 in Yates Cemetery, Parksville, BC.
Her spirit will be missed by all.
