Mary was a sweet, loving soul who loved being around her family and friends. Born in Buffalo, New York, she came to Canada as a baby with her parents, settling in Montreal where she grew up and married. She later moved to Toronto, then retired on Vancouver Island.
She is predeceased by her parents, five siblings, her second husband Angus MacLean, and her step-son-in-law Maurice St. Pierre.
She leaves behind her son Sam Sharkey (Julie Angiers) and granddaughter Jennifer Angiers, her daughter Gail Greene (Anthony Greene), her grandchildren Lorne Greene (Jamie Wright) and Ryan Greene, her great-grandchildren Mack and Owen Greene, her step-son Sheldon MacLean (Maureen MacLean), step-daughter Sheila MacLean, step-grandchild Julia St. Pierre (Daniel Montoya), and great-step-grandchild Leonardo Montoya, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mom left us with many memories that we will cherish, and she will be dearly missed.
