Mildred was born on December 22nd, 1925 in Natal, BC to parents, Anna and Jerry Kaisner. Midge met and married Martin Osadan in Coleman, Alberta. They travelled together to Martin’s various heavy construction projects with Northern Construction, Manix and Canadian Bechtel, all throughout Canada. However, her most exciting move was when they went overseas to work for Canadian Bechtel and lived in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She and Martin were married for 36 years.
Midge’s favourite pastimes included softball, trap shooting, travel, fishing with Martin, curling, gardening and canning. Later in life, she enjoyed living in Parksville. As golfing was her passion, she became a long-time member of Eaglecrest Golf Club in Qualicum Beach. Midge loved taking her grandson, Kyle Martin Osadan and her granddaughter, Amber Coral Osadan-Ullman out golfing with her.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Martin; her second husband, Jack McIntyre; sister, Myrtle Cerny; step-brother, Frank Fisher; step-sister, Lillian Sherwood. She is lovingly remembered and will be forever missed by her daughter, Ingrid Osadan; grandchildren; sister, Mable Hegland; brother, Kenneth Kaisner; and her many other family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Arrowsmith Lodge for the loving care, support and attention provided to Mildred.
