Peter SIERMACHESKI

Peter Siermacheski

August 28, 1925 to April 22, 2015

On April 22, 2015, Peter Siermacheski, passed away peacefully at West Coast General Hospital.  He was predeceased by his mother Anne and father John; his brothers Mike, Tony, Nick, Roman, Harry, Greg, and Steve; and his sister Mary.  Peter was also predeceased by his son Robert.  Peter is survived by his wife Sally, and by his children Leslie (Yvonne) Siermacheski, Kelly (Jim) Fisher, Peter (Cathy) Siermacheski, and Tracey (Laurie) Brown.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Jaret, Lauren, Rachel, Brandon(Chantelle), Christopher, Richard, and Addy; and by his great grandchildren Alex, Summer, and Riley.  Finally, Peter is survived by his brothers, Joe (Anne) Siermy, Jon Sherman and numerous other friends and family.

            There were many happy times in the Siermacheski home with good family, good friends, good food, and good drink.  Peter loved his family and centered his life around his wife and children.  He loved trout fishing in the mountains, betting on the weather, and winning five dollars from his son and grandson.  He is and always will be with us.

            Funeral services in Peter’s memory will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Notre Dame Parish, 4731 Burke Street, Port Alberni, B.C.  Luncheon to follow.

             The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to all the staff at the West Coast General Hospital, and to all the homecare workers that were involved with Peter’s care.  The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Fraser for helping us through this difficult time.
